Madrid puede presumir de tener muchas fiestas con las que alegrar sus calles y recibir a la gente que viene a visitarnos, pero pocas son las que contagian tantas zonas de Madrid como la llegada de la Navidad. Durante todas estas fiestas, luces de todos los colores inundan la ciudad. Desde finales de noviembre (y hasta el día de Reyes), calles, plazas y edificios están iluminados con millones de lámparas que cumplen con los más estrictos requisitos de respeto al medio ambiente y eficiencia energética, iluminando más pero consumiendo menos. Como en años anteriores, han contado con la creatividad de varios arquitectos y diseñadores españoles con el objetivo común de poner en valor los espacios más emblemáticos del centro de la ciudad y de los distritos.
